Healthy ice cream is easy to prepare yourself. Frozen frozen bananas, mangoes or berries can easily be turned into a delicious ice cream cone. Use overripe bananas for this Banana Peanut Butter Ice Cream. They are beautiful and soft and therefore should not be thrown away.
Ingredients, for 4 servings
- 4 ripe bananas
- 1 tablespoon 100% peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons cocoa nibs or chopped walnuts
Ice cream preparation
Peel the bananas and break them into pieces. Put them in a freezer bag and place them in the freezer for at least 5 hours. Grind frozen bananas with peanut butter and cocoa powder in a food processor until smooth.
Now you can enjoy creamy soft serve ice cream. Divide among 4 bowls and sprinkle with cocoa nibs or chopped walnuts.
Want to make it into balls? Then put the ice cream in the freezer for another 1 hour (or more).
